Yes

Percentage of employees assessed, directly or by representative sample:
100

A brief description of the institution’s methodology for evaluating employee satisfaction and engagement:

Selkirk Innovates worked with a third-party, Discovery Research. Discovery Research administered the survey using an online tool that collected the data and reported the aggregated results to Selkirk Innovates for data analysis and report writing.

The team at Selkirk Innovates conducted an extensive literature review for this project, which has informed the questions and scales used in the survey. The approach to use scales that have been tested and validated by academic literature gives a high level of confidence that the questions being asked will provide the accurate data needed to make evidence-based decisions.

A brief description of the mechanism(s) by which the institution addresses issues raised by the evaluation:

Selkirk Innovates will present research findings to the Selkirk College Leadership Team in Spring 2023. Findings will be shared with the organization thereafter. The results of the survey will be shared with Selkirk College and be used to develop and tailor programs, policies and practices that best support our efforts to enhance organizational climate and employee experience.
