Departments can request pick up of electronic waste by OTS or Material Management. These items are recycled through the university's electronic waste disposal contract.


A brief description of the electronic waste recycling program for institution-generated materials:

The university recycles laser and inkjet printer cartridges through the Funding Factory. Each item recycled in the program gives the university points that are used to purchase equipment for the Child Care Center. To recycle a printer cartridge, drop the cartridge in one of the RecycALL plus containers located in every residence hall lobby, or one of the octagon-shaped green and white collection boxes.


A brief description of the electronic waste recycling program for student-generated materials :

Electronics recycling containers are located in the lobby of every campus residence hall. All electronics—from computers to curling irons—can be placed in the containers.
