UMass Chan Medical School uses U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) rating system.
The Ambulatory Care Center (ACC) is certified LEED Silver since October 12, 2012 and the Albert Sherman Center (ASC) is certified LEED Gold since January 30, 2013. The UMass Chan campus is targeting LEED Gold for a building under construction at this time.
