Yes

The name of the campaign(s):
DU "Take Back the Tap" Campaign

A brief description of the campaign(s):

Our goals were twofold: at the grassroots level, we aimed to gain the support of undergraduate and graduate students to stop consuming bottled water on campus. At the administrative level, we had several meetings with important decision makers on campus to curb and ultimately cease bottled water purchasing for vending machines, convenience stores, dining halls, admissions tours, and the myriad events hosted on campus. The campaign included poster publicity, an online survey, a taste test, and installation of bottle-filling stations around campus.

A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign(s):

Our survey received nearly five hundred responses, the overwhelming majority of which were supportive of eliminating bottled water. The university experienced a slight drop in bottled water consumption since the inception of our advertising to the end of the school year.
