Does the institution have a program to reduce residence hall move-in waste?:
Yes

A brief description of the program:

WKU has an orientation program for incoming freshmen called Master Plan. During this week long program students begin to move in the residence halls. For the past 4 years WKU Recycling and HRL have hosted cardboard collection drives where we have diverted thousands of pounds of cardboard from landfill bound dumpsters. At the time of Move-In, dumpsters are specifically placed to divert cardboard from landfills.
