Does the institution have a program to reduce residence hall move-out waste?:
A brief description of the program:
During finals week, WKU's Housing department and WKU Recycling host a move out collection drive called Lighten Your Load. This program takes gently used items from outgoing students to be collected and donated to local Goodwills, the Salvation Army, the Conexion International Center and other donation centers. Containers are also placed to collect foods such as canned goods that can be donated to local non profits.
