At AASHE's Global Conference on Sustainability in Higher Education (GCSHE), Dr. Beth Weinman co-presented a session on how to engage students in sustainability beyond individual actions. Her contributions to the session included ways to use universities as living laboratories, as well as the importance of developing partnerships between community benefit organizations and universities, to create meaningful and sustainable learning and research opportunities.

All sustainability staff at each CSU campus have the opportunity to participate in the CSU Sustainability Affinity Working Group, which commences once or twice a month to troubleshoot problems associated with STARS reporting; general sustainability issues in any sector of the campus; and general research and development of the sustainability program.
