A brief description of the food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource:

The Amendola Family Student Cupboard is a free food and hygiene pantry for currently enrolled Fresno State students. Students are able to choose from a variety of perishable and non-perishable items to take home to cook. Hygiene packs are distributed on the first and third Wednesdays and Thursdays each month. The Amendola Family Student Cupboard is primarily funded by monetary donations. We also accept food and hygiene donations as long as items are not expired or past a best by date.

The Amendola Family Student Cupboard is a part of the broader Food Security Project, which provides students with food and other basic needs so they can succeed academically. The Food Security Project includes the Student Cupboard, CalFresh application assistance, and nutrition education.
