We have submitted case studies to the annual Campus Race to Zero Waste competition regarding waste and recycling events on campus.

After competitive review, Endicott was published in the APPA magazine for an article on climate resilience and stormwater management on campus.

Endicott sustainability staff meet with staff at Salem State University to discuss program collaboration and best practices.

The College also works closely to share best practices with nearby Gordon College and Montserrat College of Art, as well as Emerson College.

The Office of Sustainability helps to advise city officials on sustainability initiatives.

A brief description of other inter-campus collaborative efforts around sustainability during the previous year :

The College has had discussions with the City of Beverly, City of Salem, Salem State University, local nonprofit Green Beverly, Gordon College and Montserrat College of art to determine collaboration opportunities to advance sustainability efforts in the region.

Endicott hosts high-achieving 7th graders from the City of Lynn for a three week Learning and Leadership Program every summer. For one week, the students focus solely on environmental science and sustainability, using the campus and surrounding coastal ecosystem as a living laboratory. We have also hosted high-achieving 8th graders from local Glen Urquhart School for sustainability tours at Endicott.
