Commitment to maintain low tuition in comparison to other community colleges within the state. Textbook rental program. Wide variety of scholarships available through ICC's Educational Foundation. Peoria Promise Scholarship for graduates who reside within the City of Peoria.

There are numerous scholarships available for low-income students. These scholarships are provided through the ICC Educational Foundation through donations from individuals, organizations, groups, and businesses. Many of the scholarships are based on student need.

TRIO Upward Bound assists the parents of its low-income participants in preparing for the college experience. The College Yes Program Coordinator and Admission Representatives also carry out these responsibilities. Financial Aid workshops are provided at the college, in local schools, and in the community.

A comprehensive, coordinated strategy guides college activities in reaching out to and assisting low-income students in enrolling and succeeding in college. Oversight for these activities is provided through the Department of Diversity.

The college's diverse hiring initiative requires that all members of hiring committees successfully complete diverse hiring training.

The mission of ICC's Child Centers is to provide high quality, accessible, affordable, and educational child care services to families. We are a service oriented program that offers developmentally appropriate programs for children age 2 and potty trained to the 6th birthday. We believe that our college community, staff, and families provide a valuable partnership to benefit children and their families. The services that we provide enhance the physical, social-emotional, and cognitive development of children. The families that we serve and our staff contribute significantly to the economic vitality of our community.
