A brief description of the snow and ice removal program, policy, or practice:

Judson no longer uses liquid sprays, which needed frequent reapplications and were thus more damaging on the natural environment.

Instead, Campus Operations now uses "Magic Salt" which has alcohol in it and leaves a residue, which means that less applications are needed because each application takes longer to wear off. Additionally, the new Magic Salt is less corrosive on campus bridges and the plant life surrounding them. The Magic Salt is also much less likely to spread to the surrounding grounds.
