Culturally competent employees are aware of basic principles of equity. ODU makes cultural competence trainings and activities available to all employees via the following training opportunities: Recruitment, Selection & Hiring for a Diverse Workforce; Diversity; Sexual Harassment Prevention; Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action. Additionally, ODU offers the following training: General Global Competencies; Understanding Culture; and Communicating Effectively with International Students.
