Razorback Recycling collects paper, cardboard, cans & bottles, and other items from campus users. Similarly, in 2015, the University of Arkansas participated in the Game Day recycling challenge, a program in which recyclable materials were collected from every Razorback football home game, sorted and recycled.
Some departments on campus also partner with the Boston Mountain Solid Waste District to manage their recycling streams

Razorback Food Recovery collects and donates unused food to the NWA Food Pantry and local nonprofits.

All of our dining halls partnered with the City for a food waste composting pilot in the Spring of 2016, which will be established as a permanent program in Fall of 2017. This will account for the majority of food waste on campus.
