A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:

Yale Fleet is one of the 10 charter fleets in the NAFA (National Association of Fleet Administrators) Sustainable Standard Program. The Program is a national accreditation for fleets of all sizes and standards. Re-accreditation is in 2017 and we are working to increase our accreditation level. Yale Fleet Management is working to increase the number of alternative fuel and clean technology vehicles in the fleet. Recently the Yale Shuttle upfitted several buses to run on hybrid technology.
