Why does it say we have a report that is “pending submission” when we just earned a rating?

When an institution publishes a STARS Report, a new submission set is automatically created in the Reporting Tool based on the current version of STARS. The new submission set is not publicly accessible until an updated report is submitted, thus it is “pending submission”.This process is intended to keep things as simple and seamless for STARS participants as possible and make sure that you always have an active dataset to work with. In fact, all of the relevant data from your published report is automatically copied into the new submission set, so whenever you are ready you can simply update your existing data, add any new information that is required, and submit a new report.
