A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
The Winter Connections Festival is a day long event designed to facilitate discussions amongst students, staff, and faculty of different affinty groups and to celebrate diversity on campus. Our Spring Fest in 2013 also highlighted diverse groups represented on campus, and had booths from groups ranging from the Women's center and Feminist Alliance to ethnic clubs and campus groups representing the different types of diversity we celebrate at North Seattle Community College.
