A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :

Every unit delivered at Robina Campus is either sustainability-focused or sustainability-inclusive. The 100% unit result claimed is due to the 9-month Professional Learning Program (PLP) completed by our educators. During this time, teams of educators mapped every unit to at least one of the Robina Campus 6 selected SDGs:
SDG 3: Health and well-being of our staff and students
SDG 4: Quality education
SDG 5: Gender equity and women’s empowerment
SDG 8: Economic growth and decent work for all
SDG 12: Ensure sustainable consumption
SDG 13: Act to combat climate change and its impact

The attachment AC1_PLP_Educators explains the full process used to educate and upskill educators. Also included in the attachment is a unit example to demonstrate the process used by educators in the mapping process.

The steps listed below were followed to create the Academic Inventory:

1. The units listed are accredited national qualifications and were offered for the 2022/23 financial year. Each unit has a code and descriptor. Students successfully completing an accredited unit attain a Statement of Attainment (for one unit or more units). Students successfully completing a packaged group of units, attain a full qualification. These qualifications range from Certificate I up to an Advanced Diploma level as per the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).

2. Within the accredited units, identified and listed units of competency were categorised as sustainability-focused or sustainability inclusive. As Robina Campus has embedded and mapped sustainability into every unit, all units meet the sustainability inclusive standard. If the unit listed had a specific mention of sustainability in its title, then it was upgraded to sustainability-focused.

3. Robina Campus has been in operation since July 2022, so the course inventory is for the 2022/23 financial year.

4. Each unit was classified against the STARS criteria.

5. The length of each unit was recorded along with a schedule of delivery.

6. Unit activity was monitored through student enrolments, the student SMS, student surveys, Bi reports on completion and satisfaction rates, and minutes from product lead meetings.

How were courses with multiple offerings or sections counted for the figures reported above?:
Each offering or section of a course was counted as an individual course

A brief description of how courses with multiple offerings or sections were counted:

Every unit offered at Robina Campus was counted individually. Some units are offered multiple times due to the grouping of units into different qualifications. The prerequisites of the unit describe what someone has to do before completing the unit. Each of the elements of the unit describes the broad outcomes for each unit.

Every accredited unit is listed on www.training.gov.au. A unit is the smallest component of a full qualification in Australia that can be assessed and recognised. It gives a description of the skills and knowledge required to perform effectively to a specific standard in a particular workplace role or function. Unit detail includes:
*Code and a title – the title almost always starts with a verb
*Currency status of the unit
*The qualifications that include the unit
*Application - describes how the unit is applied in the workplace, and what roles it applies to
*Elements - describe the outcomes required including the performance criteria used to make the assessment
*Foundation skills - describes the literacy, numeracy, and employment skills essential to performance
*Pre-requisites of the unit describe what someone has to do before completing the unit
*Assessment requirements list the performance and knowledge evidence needed
*Assessment conditions outline how the assessment should be done
*Links - Companion Volume Implementation Guides are available for every unit.

The listed units can be packaged together to offer Certificate and/or Diploma level qualifications to students. Successful completion of a unit results in the awarding of a national Statement of Attainment.

In Australia, students who successfully complete a full qualification are awarded the relevant qualification i.e. Certificate level and/or Diploma, as per the Australian Qualification Framework (AQF). If a student elects to successfully complete one or more units, then a Statement of Attainment is awarded. These units are offered based on demand from businesses or groups of individual students. Some units are grouped together and are referred to as Skill Sets.
