Do the figures reported above cover one, two, or three academic years?:
One

Does the institution have at least one sustainability-focused certificate program through its continuing education or extension department?:
Yes

A brief description of the certificate program(s):

There are 2 certificate courses which include multiple units - Complete Beekeeping Bundle (3 units) and Introduction to Sustainable Living Bundle (4 units). All other courses are individual units. Successful completion of 1 or more units results in a Certificate of Completion being awarded. These non-accredited short courses are not part of the Australian Qualification Framework but courses developed by TAFE Queensland specifically aimed at educating the community about sustainability practices.

A non-accredited course will have a descriptor. Multiple start dates for short courses have been included with each short course counted as one course. Most of the sustainability-focused courses are offered each semester but are dependent on the availability of the educator. The additional value of offering short, non-accredited courses is to reconnect with learners and engage the local community. Reconnecting learners helps individuals to move into a further study pathway, including accredited, national courses.
