The library broadly supports Open Access through training and troubleshooting services for the NIH Public Access Policy; brokering publisher memberships that afford UMMS authors discounts on APCs for publication in Open Access journals; and developing and disseminating educational resources on the mechanisms and benefits of Open Access. The library manages the University’s institutional repository, eScholarship@UMMS, mediating the deposit of UMMS-authored research products and publishing five Open Access journals.
