A brief description of the mentoring relationship and activities:

The University of Massachusetts Sustainability Council consists of sustainability staff from each of the UMass campuses with oversight from the UMass President's Office. As part of this group, each of the campuses offers resources and expertise which supports sustainability reporting and the overall development of each campus' sustainability program.

Through the University of Massachusetts Sustainability Council, campuses regularly conduct peer reviews on data reports which are required for annual reporting to the Board of Trustees under the Sustainability Policy - these metrics align with STARS reporting.

University of Massachusetts Sustainability Council hosts annual retreats to conduct strategic planning of system wide collaborative efforts.
