UMass Medical School's affiliated Hospital, UMass Memorial Medical Center is a participant of Practice Greenhealth's Healthier Hospitals Initiative. UMMHC strives to reduce energy consumption through energy conservation initiatives and reduces waste through a partnership with Partners for World Health to donate medical supplies and equipment to medical mission trips in developing countries.
