UMass Medical School's central sustainability website highlights sustainable aspects of the organization ranging from building properties to campus recycling to transportation. The website is designed to engage faculty, students, and staff to learn more about what the University is doing for sustainability and how they can participate in making the organization more sustainable.

A brief description of the sustainability newsletter:

The University publishes a bimonthly sustainability e-newsletter sent out to everyone with an @umassmed.edu email address. The newsletter highlights new sustainability projects, accomplishments, and events. The newsletter also provides helpful resources to faculty, staff, and students to help them reduce their environmental impact. The newsletter further engages members of the UMMS community to get involved with sustainability in the organization by tracking progress towards our sustainability goals.

Additionally, NexDine the current dining services vendor, promotes their collaboration with the Worcester FoodHUB clearly identifying what food was sourced locally through this collaboration.
