The Braves Share Program provides resources to actively enrolled students as well as university employees with a valid Braves One ID. Braves Share is sponsored through the University Center and Programs office.
We provide resource support to students, student organizations and student groups to enhance campus community engagement through robust experiences at UNCP.
The Braves Share Program includes items such as:
Bicycles for local transportation (daytime only)
Shopping bikes (tri-wheelers) to assist local shopping (daytime only)
Portable sound equipment
Shared umbrellas for inclement weather
Commuter storage locker (per semester)

The Shuttle Program is provided by University Center and Programs to benefit campus residents who need transportation assistance. The UC&P office provides shuttle accommodations for:
Shopping shuttle- weekly shuttle runs to the local WalMart
Airport shuttle – transportation to and pick at the Raleigh-Durham Airport (RDU).
The pick-up and drop-off location for the shuttle is located in front on the Jones Athletic Center Lot #14. Not sure where this is? Please refer to the campus map.
Prior reservations are required to participate in the Shuttle Program.
Every effort is made to adhere to the posted schedule. However, you are encouraged to check this web site for schedule changes. We reserve the right to alter the schedule due to circumstances beyond our control such as adverse weather or mechanical failures. Drivers have been encouraged to post updated schedule changes at the shuttle stop.

Zipcar: Students, faculty, staff and local residents needing to share a car can do so by-the-hour, after registering with Zipcar and must be at least 18 years old and have been a licensed driver for at least one year. There are two Zipcars on campus, located in Lot 17 in front of Lumbee Hall. Campus Parking Map, link. Rates are about $8/hour after Zipcar membership, which includes gas and insurance. Plug-in Electric Vehicle (PEV) Charging on Campus
Anyone on campus who drives a PEV is welcomed to recharge it, for FREE, at either one of the four electric vehicle charging stations (EVSE) on campus located in Lot 17 (visitor lot, anyone can use these chargers) in front of the Dial Humanities Building and Lumbee Hall; Lot 14 (general parking lot, students, faculty and staff can use) at the Jones Health and Physical Education Building or in Lot 6 (faculty and staff lot, only) behind Moore Hall. Campus Parking Map, link. As the demand on campus increases for more stations, plans are to install more to meet the need. On June 23, 2014 UNCP became the first college in North Carolina to become a Partner in DOE's Workplace Charging Challenge! The Workplace Charging Challenge is a collaborative effort to increase the number of U.S. employers offering workplace charging by tenfold inthe next five years. A two kW solar photovoltaic (PV) array was installed to offset the energy consumed by the 2 EVSE at Lot 17, creating a carbon net-zero application! As part of the campus's sustainable building program: Preferred Parking for Qualifying Low-Emitting (LEV), Fuel-Efficient (FEV) and Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFVs) are offered at newly constructed facilities. Currently these spaces are at the Health Science Building.
