"The Sustainability Coordinator facilitates the development and advancement of institutional sustainability strategies; works collaboratively to plan, develop, implement and evaluate programs and projects through a systems-based environmental, social, and economic perspective. Utilizes appropriate methodologies to achieve sound, reliable, fact-based conclusions and recommendations; and demonstrates the administrative expertise to integrate the interests of multiple stakeholders throughout the organization. Also serves in an advisory capacity in the formulation of the university’s sustainability policies; initiates, coordinates, and supports various committees and work groups.” (quoted from official job description)

There are currently 4 full-time staff employed at the sustainability office. Additionally, there are 4 approximately half-time student positions and an additional 4 quarter time paid student positions, or more depending on year-to-year funding opportunities and partnerships.
