Does the institution make training and professional development opportunities in sustainability available to all staff?:
Yes

A brief description of the sustainability trainings and professional development opportunities available to staff :

Wartburg offers a Professional Development Series each year which was created in an effort to foster deeper relationships between members of the campus community. This past year a total of four events were held; these included three presentations, two by regional speakers and one from campus community members, plus the staff retreat. Among the other programs, Wartburg’s Sustainability Coordinator, Anne Duncan, did a program about sustainability during the staff retreat with 110 people in attendance.

Annually the sustainability office sends at least 1 staff or faculty representative to a sustainability conference, mostly AASHE or UMACS. All staff and faculty are invited through a campus email list to apply to attend.
