We offer a map of the environmentally sustainable features on campus, focusing on our wetlands, forests, green buildings, bike paths, and ponds. We also offer a Google Maps version of this map. We also offer a map of walking paths in the nearby Sachar Woods and Prospect Hill Park.

We offer a comprehensive guide on the Brandeis Sustainability website which includes information on the MBTA (the Massachussetts public transportation system), the Zipcar program, our shuttle service, and DeisBikes (our campus bike sharing program).

Brandeis challenges students to get their room Green Room certified--to do this students must meet a certain number of criteria on a list of sustainable living practices. Brandeis also provides green living tips for incoming students, such as to pack lightly and buy energy star appliances. We would love to expand to a full guide.

ETHICAL INQUIRY: FEBRUARY 2010 Who Bears Responsibility for the Environment?
International Center for Ethics, Justice, and Public Life publishes the Ethical Inquiry monthly- many topics are sustainability related. One month was entirely about the environment and was followed by lectures.
