CSULB is participating in the Real Food Challenge to track our sustainable food purchases. Real food is a food system that fundamentally respects human dignity and health, animal welfare, social justice, and environmental sustainability.

Using two months of inventory data from distributors in the fall and two months from the spring, we built our own real food database using the Real Foods Challenge criteria.
