A brief description of the sustainability trainings and professional development opportunities available to staff :
In fall 2013 a session was offered at the all staff in-service on Recycling, Sustainability, and Green Buildings. The session focused on common questions, myths, and misperceptions around recycling in Fargo-Moorhead, energy use and energy efficiency, and LEED/green buildings (with a focus on the college's new, and first, LEED certified building). It is anticipated that other sessions on sustainability will be offered at future staff in-service trainings as well.
