The Director of Sustainability is a member of WOHESC (Washington and Oregon Higher Education Sustainability Coalition), which includes representatives from the public and private colleges and universities in Washington and Oregon.

Evergreen's Office of Sustainability works closely with counterparts at Western Washington University and the University of Washington on peer-to-peer sharing and collaboration on projects, as well as supporting cross-campus student learning. We also provide advisory support for new staff or start-up programs at the smaller colleges and universities around the state.

Evergreen is also an active participant in local sustainability planning, through the Thurston Regional Planning Council, as well as state inter-agency planning and action through the WA State Alternative Fueled Vehicles Technical Advisory Group and the Interagency Climate Adaptation Network.
