Inclusive Excellence and Student Success (IESS) operates the Social Justice Center (SJC), an on-campus space that hosts weekly open hours during the active quarter as well as additional training workshops on anti-racism, LGBTQ+ issues, and other topics. These workshops are open to students, faculty, and staff without the need for prior registration.

Inclusion and cultural competence trainings are a component of New Student Orientation, which is mandatory for all incoming students in the undergraduate program (whether first-year, transfer, or international). Graduate students are not required to attend New Student Orientation; rather, each graduate program has its own separate day of incoming-student orientation, which includes a presentation from the First Peoples Multicultural Trans & Queer Support Services as a component.
Evergreen additionally hosts an annual Equity Symposium, which includes a variety of speakers and workshops centered around a chosen theme related to community and social justice. While attendance is not mandatory, the Equity Symposium is heavily marketed to the college populace and students, faculty, and staff alike are highly encouraged to attend. At their discretion, faculty teaching classes that overlap in time with the Equity Symposium may encourage their students to take the time to attend. At least 200 faculty and staff were reported to have attended workshops, community gathering events, and/or the keynote speaker event at the most recent 2023 Equity Symposium, out of approximately 700 overall.
