The Social Justice Center serves as a gathering place for Greeners and our surrounding community. Additionally, the Center serves as a resource where we educate, gain skills and build capacity on important issues such as race, social justice, and equity in education. It is also a place where we foster collaborative partnerships, engage cultural difference and promote courageous dialogue and advocacy through a social justice lens. Since 2021, the Center has hosted the Equity Symposium, which brings us together with speakers, performances, workshops, and social events to inspire, teach, and celebrate. The Center also provides DEI learning opportunities for staff & faculty. https://www.evergreen.edu/academics/centers-institutes/social-justice-center
