Student Recruitment: Upward Bound

The Upward Bound program is a component of TRIO (Trio Student Success and Disability Support) which seeks "to support low income high school students in becoming the first in their family to obtain a college degree" (mission statement). The program holds five "Upward Bound Grants" which each total from $1.2 to 2.4 million over 5 years. The program encompasses field trips, camps, and an optional six-week summer program.

Social Justice Center

The Social Justice Center provides on-campus gathering space for discussions of social justice, equity, and liberation, and hosts periodic events such as film screenings and special training programs.
