A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:

Brainy Drains have been installed at RRU as part of a pilot project used to intelligently monitor the the contents of the materials being washed into the drains. The project is aimed at further safe guarding the environment by monitoring the pollutants being washed into the drainage system. Petro Barrier System Inc. (PBS) has implemented wireless technology into their drains that have designed by Camosun College. PBS has installed eight filters on the RRU campus parking lot as of February 5, 2013.
