The University Health Services (UHS) offers a wide variety of resources for the entire campus community in need of health and well-being services. UHS offers fitness classes, mental health counseling, recovery support programs, events, mindfulness workshops, and one-on-one coaching with a wellness professional. The university counseling center is available for mental health emergencies. UMass Boston offers LifeWorks to all its employees. LifeWorks is a comprehensive employee assistance program that provides confidential consultants you can call on the phone 24/7, as well as an award-winning website where you can read helpful articles, order free materials and resources, and much more.
