Does the institution have an on-campus garden where students are able to gain organic farming and/or gardening experience?:
Yes

A brief description of the garden:

The UNF Organic Garden began as one student's idea that grew into something amazing. Katrina Norbom, a UNF Wildlife Sanctuary Ranger, wanted a place to promote sustainable living on campus and through her patience and commitment the ground was broken on September 30, 2009 for an organic garden. Financial support for the garden was given by Bruce Ogier, a UNF alumni and former member of the UNF Sawmill Slough Conservation Club. The UNF Organic Garden is maintained by a full time staff member, who recruits clubs, organizations and classrooms to adopt beds. The adopting group must commit to 4 hours of volunteering per weeks and are responsible for planting, weeding, and watering their assigned plot.
