The University of Northern Iowa, Iowa State University, and the University of Iowa jointly bid a contract for responsible recycling of electronic waste. All considerations above are outlined within the contract.

A brief description of the electronic waste recycling program for student-generated materials :

Student waste is handled differently than the institutional waste. The main outlet for this waste is through utilization of the Goodwill-Dell Reconnect program. Additionally, a number of places exist on campus to collect small amounts of e-waste.
