First of all, the measurable sustainability objectives related to academics plan is present in the president message published in the following link https://um6p.ma/en/message-president, where he says : "What does the future hold? A campus in a new, green and intelligent city, which will welcome industrial operators, digitalization, agrobioscience, and behavioral science specialists. This interactive ensemble will revolve around a temple of knowledge where, in just a few years, with more than 6,000 students and 400 researcher professors, trained mainly in Africa by Africa.

Also, The waste management policy aims to improve the general organization and monitoring of waste management at the university, diversify the initiatives put in place to improve the recovery of university waste, establish guidelines for the collection and disposal of different types of waste at the university, present the projects initiated as part of the overall waste management strategy, including organic waste from catering and laboratory waste generated by university laboratories, and finally implement actions that meet the requirements of the STARS accreditation criteria for waste management.

The energy management policy of UM6P aims to take stock of energy consumption and the use of renewable energy at the university, diversify the initiatives put in place to raise awareness around energy saving, Establish guidelines for more efficient energy use and better control of energy consumption, Present the projects initiated as part of the implementation of the efficient energy management strategy and finally implement actions that meet the requirements of the STARS accreditation criteria for waste management.

NON-CONVENTIONAL WATER POLICY : The University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P) campus has implemented a non-conventional water policy to reduce its dependence on freshwater sources and promote sustainable water management practices. The policy involves the use of treated wastewater for irrigation purposes, which is collected from the campus wastewater treatment plant. This practice not only conserves freshwater resources but also reduces the amount of wastewater discharged into the environment, reducing the pollution of nearby water sources. Additionally, the campus has implemented rainwater harvesting systems to collect and store rainwater for irrigation and other non-potable uses.

The eco-responsible purchasing policy aims to express UM6P's expectations in regard of its suppliers and subcontractors. It highlights the institution desire to add sustainability selection criterion at the same level of the criteria currently used for cost, quality, service, innovation and risk management.

Because the Sustainable Development of African societies is at the heart of the strategic objectives of the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P),
Because the UM6P aspires to become a space for experimentation aiming at improving the life quality of present and future generations,

The deployment of our twelve commitments is part of UM6P's desire to implement a Sustainable Development approach and to mobilize the whole community (students, academic and non-academic staff) in order to integrate or strengthen Sustainable Development in our education, research and operations missions.
