The non-discrimination statement is publicly posted in the SD institutional policy for all the public and UM6P community.

In the article 5.5 Lifestyle and environments, it is stated that :
UM6P is committed to respecting and promoting the following principles:

Implement the necessary resources to become an inclusive environment in its practices aiming to empower and include each and everyone with respect, dignity and recognition of human rights and freedoms, without distinction, nor exclusion, nor preference based on ethnicity, skin color, sex, gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, marital status, age, religion, political beliefs, language, social status and/or disability. UM6P works to create a diverse and an inclusive both the work and study environments;

UM6P is committed to maintaining a healthy work and study environments free from violence, harassment, sexual harassment, abuse and discrimination;

No manifestation of physical violence, harassment, discrimination, or abuse of power or trust is tolerated at UM6P;

The management of UM6P implements a healthy work and study environments by focusing on conflicts prevention and management;

UM6P advocates the responsibility of everyone in maintaining a healthy living environment: everyone has the responsibility to denounce a situation of violence, harassment, discrimination or abuse that they witness;

Any complaint related to violence, harassment, discrimination or abuse is handled with diligence, confidentiality and fairness.

A brief description of the institution’s discrimination response protocol or team:

Say No to Violence - Speak Up is an initiative launched by the president office, led by PR & Community Engagement office in collaboration with Students Organization, leadership and engagement office and the registrar destined to all UM6P students in order to facilitate and ensure that they speak up if they are victim of any kind of discrimination, violence or bullying inside the campus.   

It aims to create a safe environment for its community, raise awareness and give students a free and transparent voice on sensitive issues facing young people today.  

The SpeakUp initiative will allow them to express yourself confidentially and ask for help within the university, without the risk of judgement and without taboos, on issues that you encounter, such as bullying, sexual harassment and all other kinds of harassment in real or virtual settings.

Financial Aid Grants, awarded annually by the Scholarships Committee based on social criteria, according to family income and expenses, and intended to cover all or part of the costs of housing and meals, and tuition fees not covered by an excellence-based scholarship. Social grants are awarded following the formulation of an application and the submission of supporting documents.

UM6P has an open inclusivity policy, everyone on campus have access to mentoring, counselling, peer support and academic support. Moreover, the “International students” club is composed from many different nationalities from different backgrounds and religions. This union aims to make the voice of international students heard and they organize many events and activities for their peers.

Mimouna club is a tolerance-spreading initiative between Jewish and Muslim communities; they organize many webinars to spread awareness and promote peace.
