Anthony is responsible for ensuring that the University of Michigan's working and learning environment is supportive, welcoming, equitable, diverse, and free from discrimination and harassment. He develops, implements, and monitors programs promoting and ensuring equal access, equity and compliance with federal and state civil rights laws and University of Michigan policies. He maintains liaison relationships with affinity groups on and off campus, conducts and supervises staff in the identification and resolution of discrimination and harassment complaints filed by University faculty, staff, students and members of the public. This is the top affirmative action/diversity position.
