All FIE staff are encouraged to participate in training and development opportunities and/or attend events. Staff are supported generously through FIE's staff development initiatives. FIE facilities, housekeeping and 'Student Resident Life' staff are also all informally trained in 'thinking' and using sustainable practices and/or products. Many members of these teams are actively attending symposiums and signed up to 'green' emails as well (e.g.AASHE, EAUC, VINSPIRED).
