Students, staff and faculty have access to an outsourced psychotherapist, Dr. Deborah Hill. First two appointments are free of charge and covered by the company. More information is available in FIE's Mental Health Guide at http://fie.org.uk/homepage/handbooks-policies

In addition, FIE is committed to supporting the campaign ‘Time to Change’, a joint venture between Mind and Rethink Mental Illness that are committed to tackling mental health stigma and discrimination. Through internal and external communications, FIE's Diversity & Inclusivity team opens up the conversation about mental health for its staff, faculty and students through the Time to Change campaigns. Most recently, the #smallthings campaign launched in tandem with World Mental Health Day in October 2015. http://fie.org.uk/about-us/our-values/fie-supports

Through its extensive personal and professional development fund, FIE assists both staff and faculty to not only improve their professional skills, but also invest in their wellbeing and personal development.

In addition, a dedicated staff social calendar managed by the Director of Student Life manages a variety of events aimed at creating various opportunities for staff and faculty to interact and build stronger relationships in an informal environment.
