UGA Faciltities Management Division maintains a Building Service Worker Academy to continually train building maintenance workers, providing consistent and standardized methods for green cleaning practices, worker safety training and customer service. Graduation from the Academy is required for advancement and instills a sense of accomplishment and pride in their valuable work at UGA.
In addition, Facilities Management Division Operations & Maintenance Department maintains an active, staffed Preventative Maintenance program.
