A brief description of the socially responsible investment option for retirement plans:
All employees of the University of Georgia are required to participate in a retirement program. The two main options are the Teachers Retirement System (TRS) or the Optional Retirement Plan. (For temporary, seasonal or part time employees, they can participate in the Georgia Defined Contribution Plan.)
