Since UNBC has not yet conducted a survey of the learning outcomes included in course syllabi, we adopted a liberal definition of a sustainability learning outcome in a program of study.
A program with a sustainability learning outcome is defined as one that requires for its major one or more courses on UNBC’s list of sustainability-focused or sustainability-related courses.
Graduate figures for undergraduates Bachelor and Master and PhD degrees only for 2011 were used. These figures were obtained from the university’s IDART report: http://www.unbc.ca/assets/institutionalresearch/reports/completers/credentials_major.pdf
