A brief description of the program, policy, or practice:
UNBC Residence Life and Housing will not discriminate as to suite assignments on the basis of race, colour, religion, national origin, ancestry or sexual orientation. Requests for special needs are accepted. This would include the needs of a transitioning student.
UNBC Residence Life and Housing also maintains a standard of protecting the dignity and security of individuals. Activity (verbal, written, graphic, physical) that is threatening, racist, sexist, homophobic, or any other form of discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment or unwanted sexual attention is prohibited, and may result in eviction from residence.
