Escouade verte

A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):

The "Escouade verte" (Green Squad) consists of two students who act as spokespeople for the Green Committee of the Quebec City campus (Comité Vert du 490) in its short, medium, and long-term initiatives. The students promote the committee's activities with the aim of mobilizing and raising awareness within the campus community about best practices, especially regarding waste management and sustainable development. They can help to manage waste during an event, they help with the composting bin, etc. To recognize this student commitment, scholarships of $1,000 are awarded to both members of the Green Squad for the year. In November 2023, the green squad will go from 2 to 4 student members.
