The lowest hourly wage at INRS for a staff member corresponds to a salary of class 1, step 1, according to the 2021 scales of SCUQ and SESIAF (the 2022 scales will be adjusted shortly by 3.5%). It is CAD$22.26 per hour, which amounts to CAD$46,461 annually for 40 hours of work. We used the calculator https://www.calculconversion.com/calcul-salaire-brut-net-quebec to convert the gross salary to net salary, which results in CAD$34,559, or CAS$16.55 per hour.
