A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :

In 2022, fact sheets on sustainable development and equity, diversity, inclusion were created for each centre and are now distributed to students every fall and winter at the start of the semester. These fact sheets are updated every summer. Additionally, the student welcome guides include important information from the sustainability office, such as sustainable mobility, EDI (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion), and waste management. The welcome guides for students can we found at: https://inrs.ca/les-etudes/reussite-et-vie-etudiantes/accueil-et-integration/guides-daccueil/ and an example of a guide (ETE Centre, 2023) is attached below.
Furthermore, the presentation given by a member of the SESRE (Graduate Studies and Student Success Service) to all new students at the beginning of the Fall and Winter semesters includes a slide about SD and a slide about EDI.
Moreover, the brand-new Student Resources Access Desk (GARE) features sustainability in its menu.
