The viable income according to household type in Quebec in 2022, according to the Institut de recherche et d'informations socioéconomiques (IRIS) (https://iris-recherche.qc.ca/publications/le-revenu-viable-2022-en-periode-de-crises-multiples/) for a single person in Montreal, is $29,577, which translates to an hourly wage of $14.17 for a 40-hour workweek.
