Data source(s) and notes about the submission:

Our university is quite small and has a specific mission, which explains the low number of our equivalent to departments. INRS is organized by centres, not by academic departments. The centres are multidisciplinary units focused on specific research and training objectives, there are no displicine divisions. The four centres are Eau Terre Environnement (ETE), Énergie Matériaux Télécommunications (EMT), Armand-Frappier Santé Biotechnologie (AFSB) et Urbanisation Culture Société (UCS) (in English: Water Earth Environment, Energy Materials Telecommunications, Armand-Frappier Health Biotechnology, and Urbanization Culture Society). The general INRS administration is divided as follows: the General Direction, the Scientific Direction, the Administrative Direction, and the General Secretariat. There is no other administrative division apart from the four research centres.

Employee data was extracted on April 30, 2023, from our database by the Human Resources Service. For calculating the number of full-time equivalents, a list of employees was extracted from our database on April 30, 2023, with full-time equivalents (1=full-time, a fraction=part-time). A pivot table was created to calculate the sum of full-time equivalents based on the person's job title. The number of employees includes the sum of full-time equivalents for employees and postdocs and excludes paid students, and undergraduate, master's, and doctoral interns.

The number of students provided by the Graduate Studies and Student Success Service is our students enrolled in all our study programs, including free students, including students enrolled to write their thesis, but excluding postdocs and students from other institutions.
